Lapworth Surgery Patient Survey 2017/2018

Posted: 18 April 2018

We are proud to present the results of our patient survey for year 2017 – 2018.

We asked patients registered at the Surgery to assist with our survey. This enables us to hear exactly what you have to say about the service, care and access that the Surgery gives to the community.

We will be asking our Patient Participation Group to look at the results and assist with any improvements or changes. We also welcome any feedback from patients either by contacting the Surgery or our speaking to one of our Patient Participation Group members.

A copy can be found in our patient information folders which you will find in our waiting room.

The survey was carried out from November 2017 – February 2018. Patients who attended the Surgery were asked to complete the questionnaire when they came to see Doctor Rowland, Dr Bates, Jane our Specialist Practice Nurse, Sandy our Health Care Assistant, Dr Parrott and Dr Sutton (two locum doctors covering some days over this period).

Reception staff gave out 100 questionnaires and you kindly completed them either before you left the Surgery or were kind enough to bring the questionnaire back in if you didn’t have time to completed while in the Surgery.

All Doctors and Staff would like to thank our patients for helping with this survey and giving us such positive feedback.

NEW: More GP Appointments Released

Posted: 20 February 2017

Over the next three months we are working with NHS England to offer extra GP appointments. This is because we know that there are times you want to be able to see a GP at short notice. We also know that over winter lots of people have seasonal illnesses which require more than a pharmacy but don’t need emergency treatment.

The extra appointments are bookable online or by ringing at the end of the Surgery day. Appointments are available Every morning except Thursdays 08:20 – 08:30am

If you haven’t yet signed up for GP Online Services simply go to our  ‘Do It Online‘ page to register and then call into the practice with two forms of photo ID and proof of address.

GP Online Services makes it easy to book appointments online, request repeat prescriptions and view some of your medical records.

If you are not able to attend an appointment you have booked, for whatever reason, please let us know. We can then offer that appointment to someone else that needs it.

UKs Top 10 Doctors Surgeries

Posted: 11 May 2016

“Highly rated: Lapworth Surgery in Solihull was also recommended by patients.

Some 7,709 surgeries across England were ranked in each category, then given an overall ranking based on the sum of those individual ranks.

Surgeries which had fewer than 50 responses from the survey were excluded on the basis the sample size was too small to draw significant conclusions.”
